i want to get an ipod touch someday, when i have enough money saved up, but, a few questions,
how do you know the whole ipod has voice over on it?
how do you go through your songs, set them to a playlist, navigate everything basically, i know from the one my mom has there's no little wheel thing like on the ipod nano.

how do you type on it,

just plain old how accessable is it, and is there anything reguarding music, you can't do.

i don't want to get into the app stuff yet...

Yes, you would have found your answers if you had read the other topics, but
Yes, the hole of the ipod is accessible, you use jestures, itunes on the touch is ok but crap on a pc. Typing has been covered extencively.

i've seen the topics, ok, the typing i get, but, itunes, do you need itune's 9 to work with the new ipod touch, or can you still use itune's 8, the one where jaws 10 is the most accessable?

I use Itunes 9 and jaws 11 and it works fine.:) Yes the Ipod is accessible. I still haven't really tried typing. Go to an apple store or maybe a best buy or somewhere like that and they can maybe let you play with one first.:)

Typing on it is pretty easy. It is set up almost like a standard keyboard. You touch a letter, and if it's the letter you want, you double tap it. You can use Itunes 9 but it is strongly advised with Jaws 11. You activate the voiceover in Itunes. Hope this helps. Email or PM me if you have any more questions.

It's a great device, and the accessibility is wonderful. I encourage you to get one!

i don't have jaws 11. nor do i have the money to get it. so i ask again, do you have to use itune's 9? or can you still use itune's 8?

LOL, if u get the typing, you've got it made.:) That to me is the hardest part.

The typing is the toughest part. If you need some info on the gestures, send me a PM and I will send you a link from the Apple Web site that describes them.
